The Who wind down, Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones surprise NYC, Taylor Swift on iTunes
The Who guitarist Pete Townshend revealed he'll likely be done with the band after this year, though he plans to continue collaborating with lead singer Roger Daltrey. Townshend told Mojo magazine recently that he believes the legendary band will call it a day this year.

Rick Ross denied bond, Lady Gaga channels Van Halen
Rick Ross has been denied bond after being charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery. The arrest warrant states Ross allegedly assaulted Jonathan Zamudio with a handgun on June 7 and forced him to stay in a guest house on Ross's property. The victim suffered jaw and neck injuries, two chipped teeth, and multiple scratches and contusions.

Sean Combs arrested, Dixie Chicks to hit Europe, Journey raises money
Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested Monday (6/22) at a UCLA athletic complex on charges of suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly had a "violent confrontation" with his son’s football coach. Combs’ spokeswoman said reports that Combs was the aggressor are inaccurate, as he was actually defending himself with a cast iron kettlebell.

More than 250 people were ejected from the Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean concert Saturday (6/20) at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI, due to unlawful conduct at a public event and resisting arrest. Alcohol factored into the arrests of 25 people, and police confiscated tickets from at least 125 others.
